Cape Town Photo Diary: Paternoster

First post of 2014, been slacking heavily on the blogging front. I thought I would get right into it and continue on with the snaps from my Cape Town trip in November.

Paternoster is a tiny fishing village on the West Coast of Cape Town. Think fishing boats and white washed cottages dotted along the long, sprawling beach. There also happens to be one of the best seafood restaurants ever right on the beach with a large shady deck struting out onto the sand, comfy and casual with panoramic views of the ocean. We each ordered the seafood platter and I can safely say this was the meal of the trip, the garlic prawns were to DIE FOR.

After a walk through the winding roads to fend off our food coma, we did a quick stop off in Langebaan on the drive home to check out the kite surfing. Unfortunately the starter course ran over 2 days so we were unprepared, but it’s definitely something I’d like to return for, it looks seriously fun!
